Nokia 808 PureView with 41MP Camera

Nokia announced that they will launch the Nokia 808 PureView within this month. The Nokia 808 PureView is a smartphones with technologies that can take 41 megapixel images which previously exhibited at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Nokia will launch this Symbian based mobile phones not worldwide but only in selected markets which are Russia and India.


The launch date of Nokia 808 PureView is still not known. Nokia also not stated when the phone is ready to be launched in Europe, the United States and other countries.

Even so, there is a predicted that Nokia 808 PureView will release on May 7, 2012 in the United Kingdom.

"PureView have improved image performance standards in the industry and Nokia will not stop here," said the head of Smart Devices Nokia, Jo Harlow.

"We will continue to develop for the future of smartphones PureView us in many ways," he continued.

Nokia 808 is using a high resolution of 41 MP sensor, a Carl Zeiss optics and pixel oversampling technology. This means that despite using a standard resolution of 5 MP, the picture is not broken when the zoom, because the sensor super-owned high-resolution 7728x5368 pixels have a starting point, or the equivalent of 41 MP.

"People will think the focus up to 41 megapixel sensor. Yet the real quantum leap is how the pixel is used to obtain good quality images in any resolution," the statement delivered Nokia.

Nokia 808 also features HD video recording and playback 1080p video with lossless zoom capability of up to 4 times.

As a smartphone, the Nokia 808 also features the ability to adjust the size of the compact, making it easy to be shared through email, MMS, and social networking.
